I think I got things set up to my liking on Nostalgia Equals Distortion & I even have a few people agreeing to write for it & I got my first article up (it’s on The Sisters of Mercy).
Got some more proofing done for QRD.
A little more work done on digital Booklet for the Thorn1 disc. Still got to get some work done on that.
I was talking to my friend Marlene about this blog & she said that I should make it have even more of a personal emphasis. “Who cares about a daily blog about running a record label when you could have a daily blog about having Asperger’s & taking care of your Grandmother with Alzheimer’s while running a record label?” I’m not sure. I think it would end up as too bleak & depressing. Because I spend a significant amount of my currently meager income buying food for my Grandmother & then I have to fight with her to get her to eat it & she refuses & it’s really hard to put a positive spin on something like that. Especially when you take into consideration that I’ve been a vegetarian for 18 years & now I need to try to figure out how to cook meat to my Grandmother’s desires (not to mention needing to cook vegetables to the point that there is no flavor). There is occasional comedy I suppose & maybe I should bring that in when it comes.
