Spent the day going shopping with my brother, sister-in-law, & niece & then drove back home. A couple years ago I gave my brother a copy of Queens of the Stone Age’s Songs for the Deaf & he gave it back to me today. It’s funny because I think it’s the best rock album since Guns ‘n’ Roses Appetite for Destruction & I can’t understand him not liking it, but then I remember that I think Jandek writes pop music.
I was trying to listen to some Silber tunes in the car today & realized it’s not too possible to listen to music that subtle when there is wind noise. Not sure where people listen to our music, might be part of the reason I have trouble marketing it. Where do you listen to indie ambient or whatever you call the music we do?
