So here are today’s Silber activities….
Completed third quarter paperwork & filed taxes on it. For unknown reasons the income was the lowest of any quarter since 2004. I guess the culprit could be that in the past year there have only been two releases on Silber & both were free download affairs which don’t generate much press usually. So maybe the batches coming out the next couple of months will fix things a bit.
Sent out royalty checks to the artists on the roster who had money due.
Went to the post office & received seemingly good mail. Got some money I was owed from a mastering job from a few months ago (still need to check if it covered all of that bill). I got the DVD with the audio tracks to mix down from the Small Life Form recordings in the Satsop nuclear cooling tower, unfortunately they were done on a Mac & I have a PC & I can’t open them for some reason. I thought the format wars were over? I tried to transfer them onto my PC formatted hard drive when I was there & we thought it couldn’t do it because of not being able to power it up because it was USB 2.0, but maybe it’s something else. Hopefully I’ll get it figured out before I go to sleep.
